Jack's Comments:
We’ve been waiting years for this boot to be reproduced. Scott Fuller made this great reproduction by designing the tooling from original boots as samples and original Ford engineering drawings. Now if you have a set of good original tie rod ends you can restore, or a NOS set without the correct boots, you can make them 100% concours correct. This is the ONLY correct boot on the market for your original Ford tie rods. The rubber is a good quality and will not crack like some of the less expensive imported version we have seen on the market.
Concours Note: This boot is just like the originals but doesn't have a engineering number on the boot.
Correct for the following cars:
- 1967 Mustang and Shelby (All)
- 1968 Mustang and Shelby (All)
- 1969 Mustang and Shelby (All ex Boss 302/429, & Shelby after April 1st, 1969)
Scott Fuller's Comments:
Concours correct reproduction of the original assembly line tie rod end boot with metal ring. Reproduced from documented original parts and confirmed using original Ford engineering drawings. These boots are almost always split, cracked, dry-rotted, or have been replaced over the last 40-years with an incorrect generic replacement boot.
This is the ONLY correct boot on the market for your original Ford tie rods.
Not suggested for replacement tie rod ends. For use on original Ford tie rod ends only.
2/16/21 This boot now only comes in one size to fit small or big suspension cars. Guaranteed to fit both.
