This is one of our newest reproduction hoses.  Its an exact copy of the an original in every way including the ribbed exterior wall, hose thickness and rubber durometer (rubber hardness).  Unlike other reproductions this hose will not pinch and restrict because its made with the correct rubber and hardness (see third picture of me bending the hose).  The NOS (service part) hoses you see on eBay every so often don't have the ribbed outer wall so they are not correct. You will need a crimp clamp tool to properly install the axle vent clamp.

Note 1: 1968-70 Original production hoses would have a yellow paint dab 4 - 4.5" from then end of the hose indicating the strap clamps location on the hose (see pictures of a vent hose in a low mileage Boss 429).
Note 2: 1965-66 Shelby clamp located 4.5" from the end and a total length of 17.25"  Unconfirmed for other years but we suspect approximately the same measurements.
Note 3: This hose varied in its outside diameter ever so slightly and how pronounced the ribs showed during its decade of production.
Note 4: The bolt supplied with this kit the same as the production originals.  We have found many head markings but the bolt type is always the same so we suspect Ford changed from supplier to supplier for this bolt.  We have seen the following head markings: 23, C, Anchor.  The bolt supplied with this kit has an anchor head marking.
