Jack's Comments:

Ford used this sealer for many applications, including:

• Front Fenders: between fender & inner fender (make sure the judges can see some of it)
• Gas Tank: seals the gas tank to the body
• Floor Drain Plugs: use enough so it squeezes out between the plug and floor pan
• Gas filler neck: use just enough so it squeezes into the trunk
• Door Panel Water Shields: attaches the door panel water shields to the inner door
• 1968-69 Heater Hose at Firewall: put on a generous amount to seal the hose to the firewall then shoot with a black sealer

First pictures are of 1970 San Jose built Coupe. The sealer is not very smashed but you get an idea how it was applied at the factory.  Each assembly line worker and factory did it a little different.
