This is a very good reproduction of the 1969-70 BOSS 429 heat tubes and clamps. The flanges are brazed on and the gaskets are white just like the originals.

Only one vendor makes these unique tubes so this makes them the best on the market by default.

Concours Notes (MCA Concours Driven and Trailer-ed Classes):
These set will pass without point loss in the Concours Trailer-ed classes.

Concours Notes (Division 1 SAAC):
Original tubes were originally bare steel so they rusted very quickly. The tubes in this set are made of steel with blend of other metals that will help to protects the tubes from rusting. Looking at the tubing the finish looks slightly whiter and brighter than bare steel tubes. To get the finish closer to the original bare steel look and still have some rust resistance you could lightly bead blast and tumble the tubes (<5 minutes tumble time). 

The clamps that are difficult to see when installed are slightly different from the originals. We suggest sourcing a set of NOS clamps for division 1 SAAC classes.
