Jack's Comments:

This is the alternator wire harness retaining clip commonly found on 1965-1969 Ford Autolite alternators.  

The second picture compares our reproduction to an original take-off metal/vinyl clip.

The third picture shows another version with a molded plastic covering thats commonly found on 1965-66 Fords (not available in reproduction). Both versions of this clip are concours correct for 1965-66. From 1967 on the metal/vinyl version is the most common.

Concours Notes:
1) The fourth pictures shows how this clip was installed on 1965-66 Mustang Alternator.
2) The last picture shows the clip installed correctly for a 1967-1969 alternator. Notice the second strap/clip used was a black plastic type that was strapped to the harness with 1/2 wide cloth tape.
