Jack's Comments:
This is the most accurate reproduction of the early Ford Autolite voltage regulator on the market. Other less expensive reproductions are easy to spot because they don't have the correct zinc base and the Ford Corp Blue paint color is way to glossy and bright.
This new solid state voltage regulator has proven to be more reliable than the mechanical regulators AMK produced in the past.
The standard duty silver ink version is concours correct for the BOSS 302, 428 S/CJ, BOSS 351 and BOSS 429.
Concours Notes: The only reason I gave it a 8 accuracy rating is because the silver Autolite stamp is perfect. I suspect its silk screened on vs the imperfect ink stamped originals. The paint color is a very good match to production originals vs AMK's previous versions that had a brighter glossy blue paint. Originals also had a date code stamp on the side of the blue cover (available special order, call).
