Before these reproductions came out I looked for years before finding an original without rust holes for my car.  If I were looking for one today I would get a reproduction because the stock of good originals has pretty much dried up and once the engine is installed it’s very difficult to see the heat shield anyway.  The correct finish for the shield is Ford Corp. Blue, the bracket with the stud was bare steel and the s-bracket was semi-gloss black. Made in USA

1968.5 Cobra Jet Notes:
The small rear mounting bracket will not fit on 1968 exhaust manifolds. Correct bracket is not reproduced.
