This is a very accurate reproduction rear heat shield mounting bracket for the 428 S/CJ. It comes from the manufacture with a high temp steel paint finish, but the correct finish is bare steel or phosphate.

It's identified as part 9C670 in the drawing below.

1968.5 Early Exhaust Manifold Notes:
Will not fit the early 1968.5 CJ exhaust manifolds without modifications. See pictures below showing an original early 1968 bracket Marcus Anghel documented. The early bracket was slightly narrower and had a larger bolt hole. 
Marcus notes this bracket should work by just increasing (drilling) the bolt hole size to 1/2 inch.
