This is BOSS 302 valve cover clear engine size decal with the lighter blue print was used during all of 1969 production and early to mid 1970 production. The change over date to the darker blue printed tag with engineering number is not known. The excellent quality of this reproduction is considered the best available. Set of two decals.

Location notes: Decals are placed according to which facility assembled the vehicle. Dearborn cars were located on the front of driver side valve cover and rear of passenger side valve cover. Metuchen cars were located on the front of both driver side and passenger side valve covers. As you can see from the pictures of the survivor cars assembly line workers were not always concerned about the placement on the valve cover.
