Jack's Comments:
Most of us have never seen an original production brake booster hose because like many of the hoses in the engine compartment they were replaced when they started to crack. Ford engineers specified one brake booster hose (C1SS-2A047-C) to fit all engines because they made a unique steel line (booster hose to intake manifold) for each engine. We accurately reproduced this brake booster hose by painstakingly copying original surviving examples including a hose from a 7,000 mile 1970 Shelby (see pictures).
We suggest you select a date code that is no less than two weeks before production.
How to read the date code G12098:

12=month (December)
09=day of month
8=year (1968)
