Correct black C1 299S engine identification decal located on the front of the 1969 BOSS 302 drivers side chrome valve cover below the OK stamp.

This decal is our new version with the correct C1 designation that refers to the Cleveland engine plant. Other versions incorrectly have the L engine plant code.

We are still researching when the black and red 299S decal was used during 1969 BOSS 302 production. If you have any info please contact us.
Update: We have a customer who is an original owner of a survivor 1969 BOSS 302 who told us the engine ID decal that was on his car was in bad shape but the letters looked like they were black.
