After more research by us and fellow enthusiast we have came to the conclusion that Ford radiator overflow hoses changed from a three ribbed outer-wall design to a smooth outer-wall around the beginning of 1969 production. We now consider the smooth outer-walled radiator overflow hose to be the most common hose type in 1969 and by 1970 it was the only type for all factories.  

Made in the USA with high temperature high quality rubber. This is not made of the crappy imported rubber that will crack a few months after you install it.

Concours Notes: Most believe the radiator overflow hose should be installed under the upper radiator bracket since the hose was part of the radiator assembly. See picture below of a 100 mile 1969 BOSS 302 survivor Bob Perkins had at his shop years ago.
