This is the stamped machined threaded nuts that are used to affix the shaker trim ring to the hood. They are exactly like the originals including the yellow zinc plating.

Note: Reproduction shaker trim rings come with their own nuts already threaded on. These original self tapping nuts are not the same thread count. See picture below how customer LeRoy Reinke installed these nuts on a reproduction trim ring.

Shaker Trim Ring Finish Factoid:
The shaker scoop and trim ring were painted at the factory with semi-gloss black acrylic lacquer PPG DDL9423. Modern option would be to use Semi-gloss black urethane.
