Unlike other reproductions you find in the most catalogs, this shield has the same rough, fiber-reinforced, masticated rubber material that Ford used to produce the original. When properly installed, the shield will roll under the top edge of the rear bumper protecting the rear license plate lamp from getting saturated with spilled gas. It’s not that noticeable, but judges always look for this shield between the taillight panel and rear bumper. Sold with correct attaching screws (3).
