1969-70 Blackout Paint

I get a lot of questions about the blackout paint so here are some pictures of an-extremely low mileage 1969 BOSS 429 Ed Meyer was working on many years ago. The pictures really show it all but the only thing that might not seem obvious is that the blackout paint was applied without the front fenders installed. Pictures are not in any order. Anyway, have fun looking at the pictures and hope this helps with your cars restoration.

Inconstancies: We have seen the blackout paint sprayed on and sometimes brushed on. Most commonly sprayed on. Most restores believe it was only brushed on if the spray gun failed. We have also seen many cars with sprayed on blackout on one side and brushed on the other. We have also seen sections that didn't get any blackout that should have. We can only attribute this to a factory worker mistake.
