Jack's Comments:
All Mustang, Shelby, Cougar convertibles used this trunk divider board and well liner combination in 1969 and 1970. Unlike the 67-68 trunk divider that screwed to the trunk floor the 69-70 version was stitched to the bottom of the well liner. Held in position by the stitching on the bottom and gravity resting the top of the divider on the trunk lid hinge spring, it was a good clean looking fit. The relief on the bottom was there so you could swing the divider forward to have access to the pump and possibly to gain you a tad more trunk room when the top was up.
