This is the best available 428 S/CJ emissions system (smog) check valve the market today. The valve has the rectangular FoMoCo die stamped in the correct location just like the originals. The other reproduction on the market also has the FoMoCo but uses a CNC machining process to look like it was die stamped.

This is the smaller nippled check valve that uses the #7 Wittek clamp.

Q: What clamps are correct for the 428 CJ smog hoses?
A: The long hose (passenger side) uses a #7 Wittek clamp at both ends, the short hose uses a #9 Wittek clamp at the diverter valve and #7 Wittek clamp at the check valve. The S-Hose uses two Wittek tower clamps.
