Jack's Comments:
This is our reproduction of the early 13 blade flat faced alternator fan with a 1/4" spacer. Nobody has ever reproduced this fan before and very few people know it's the correct fan for the early alternators. Dipped in semi-gloss black just like production fans so you may see some runs. Comes with correct thickness back spacer. 289 HiPo cars would use this fan with the C5AF-10A352-C pulley (not offset). The U inside the circle is a vendor stamp that all original production fans had.
NOTE: This fan will only work correctly with an original production C5AF-10A352-C alternator pulley. It will also work correctly with a Scott Drake reproduction C5AF-10A352-C pulley with the rear spacer machined or ground flat (see last picture).
1965 Shelby Notes: We found this flat fan on a verified survivor alternator on a 1965 Shelby 5S254 that was built 5-9-65.
Pulleys used with this fan:
C5AF-10A352-C machined single sheave Hipo 289
C5AF-10A352-B stamped type single sheave
C5AF-10A352-D1 stamped type double sheave
C5AF-10A352-D2 machined double sheave
